Have you had any experience with a Curtis Mathes Blu-ray player?

From what I've heard, the Curtis Mathes Blu-ray player isn't worth buying, as it's 1.1 standard which run very very slow. You'd be better off considering a newer blu-ray player that has been upgraded, or something like a PS3 that is infinitely upgradeable.

From what I can tell it is a 1.1 profile player. ( no ethernet-no BD Live.) Other than that I could not find a review.
