Have you ever used a Jiffy Pot?

Did you like it for pot planting?

I like using a Jiffy Pot for potting a plant because I do not have to remove the plant from a pot to put into another. Often when trying to get the plant out of the pot it breaks or is damaged. The Jiffy pot is more convenient.

Yes, we've used them. Jiffy Pot is a brand name, but the idea is a good one no matter who's name is on it. Peat pots let the seeds germinate and begin to establish roots. They can be transplanted whole so there's not nearly as much stress on the little plants. Try it.

Planting seeds in Jiffy Pots means you do not have to disturb the roots when setting the plants in the garden. Plant the entire pot. It is biodegradable.

Seeds will come up within a few days using one of these. I found it to be better than anything else I have tried.

They will work but you have to be absolutley perfect in following the directions for them. I personally prefer to do it the old fashioned way and I think my plants do better and grow much quicker by doing it the old fashioned way but you can do a net search and get even more information.
