They are supposed to be working on a new album now. With marriages, babies, and Bob leaving the band, I guess it's taking longer than usual.

They are supposed to have a new album out in 2010, but lead singer Gerard Way injured his throat recording it, so he needs to let it heal.

No, according to their website, they will release an album this year. Most bands take some time off before releasing new material.
