Does the Homelite manual tell you the the ratio of the pre-mix?

The homelite manual for my string trimmer states on page 9 the premix should be a 50/1 ratio. This equates to 2.6 ounces of oil to one gallon of gasoline or 20 cc oil to 1 liter of gasoline. The mixture needs to be exact and warns not to mix a quantity larger than you will use within 30 days.

Yes it does. The pre mix ratio for almost all Homelite products is recommended at 50:1 but can be adjusted as low as 32:1. Anywhere between these two will give you a good mixture that will not harm your engine. I use a product called Opti-2 that works regardless of pre mix ratio.

Most homelite equipment uses a 50 to 1 ratio. This is something around 2.6 ounces of oil for every gallon of gas. However you MUST not let this sit for long. Mix only what you need.
