Lortab is mainly a painkiller and it doesn't cause any weight gain. I believe you should moniter the type of food you have been eaten and also check if you are really gaining weight considerably or not by measuring your BMI.
It does but it only causes temporary weight gain. The reason you are feeling bloated is because you are now retaining water. This is where the temporary weight gain comes from but you will loose it in time.
