They do along with accessories needed for this type of work. They even have project sheets for working with leather.

yes but you might aswell just go online perticulaly ebbay so you can find legit leather from a trustworthy company and will last you forever

The one closest to me sells leather lacing by the yard and small strips by the foot. Sometimes they will get in larger pieces, but to start the smaller pieces will allow you to become comfortable with the tools. Good luck and enjoy.
