Does colon cancer cause swollen ankles?

No. If you have colon cancer this could be a side effect of the chemo or some medicines that you may be taking that are causing the ankles to swell,

Colon cancer symptoms are usually abdominal-related, but infections relating to the cancer can sometimes cause fluid buildup in the ankles, resembling swelling.

Colon cancer can cause a build up of fluid in the body called edema. That excess fluid can then collect in the joints. It will build up in the ankles if one is standing for an extended period of time.
