Most laptop don't have GPS built into them but you can buy a GPS unit and install it into your laptop. Or you can buy lojack for your pc which uses the internet to track your PC once its stole how ever uses the internet on it will be tracked.

very rarely does a laptop have a GPS in it. some laptops do have theft preventions systems that allow recovery. for instance, a laptops position can be found based on the wi-fi networks it can see. unfortunately, if you want to recover a stolen laptop, you will need to have a recovery program already on it before it got stolen.
