Does a cloudy feline eye mean an ulcer?

No, the cornea may be damage and this can mean that the cat has feline herpes (which is not contagious).

A cloudy eye can indead mean an ulcer, but it can also mean other thing. Such has severe worms, so make sure your cat has been wormed. It could also mean a type of infection. Either way you should take you cat to a Vet. They are the experts and can help you cat the best.

It could be caused by a variety of things determined by the degree of cloudiness or redness. Infection, cateracts, and ulceration from an injury could be the cause.
