The reason they make record albums again is because so many people prefer the sound of vinyl over digital. 8-track tapes never had that kind of sound quality, so there is not a demand for new ones.
No they do not make them. There is not a market for them anymore. There is a market for records, but not for them. You might be able to find some used ones on ebay or amazon as well as at a garage sale.
