A college degree is not mandatory in becoming a personal trainer. They may, however, give the student with the degree an advantage in career opportunity. A degree in exercise science is ideal for this career.

While having a college degree is important for credibility as a personal trainer, it's much more relevant and valuable for you to have a certification in personal training than a college degree. Visit these sites for more information: http://www. nasm. org and http://www. ncsf. org.
