Yes, unfortunately for those in this shoe size category, the most common size for women is 8-9. But fortunately, this means that shoe companies produce more shoes in these sizes than any other size to account for demand. It's just a really, really high demand.

I don't think most women wear a size 8 shoe. My foot size is 8 and 1/2 and its very hard for me to find shoes for my size for the type of style that I want. I think most people have the same taste in style as you do, that's why size 8 is always sold out.
