Fuel additive are designed just to clean out your fuel system. I don't imagine it would to anything to fix a broken sending unit. You will probably just have to remove it from the tank and fix or replace it.

No. The only way to repair a faulty sending unit is to replace it. Depending on your vehicle, you may have to drain the fuel tank and remove it to get to the sending unit. Then you will need to remove the ring that holds it in with a punch. Then the new one just slides in.

They will not repair it, but if the problem is caused by a gummed up fuel sending unit, then they might clean it out enough for it to function again. But if the item is actually broken, then it must be replaced. Try the additive first, if it doesn't work then replace the unit.

No fuel additives do not repair fuel sending units, unless the additive is strong enough to reduce a clog in your fuel lines. Some times additives can actually damage these fuel sending units even more. Be aware of what you put in your gas tank so you do not cause more damage.

No, instead it will help eat seals if used for along time. Fuel additives are used for to clean your fuel system out. If the additives doesn't work then I suggest to get a new sending unit and replace the old one.
