People often question if fleas have wings. Do fleas have wings? No they do not have wings even though it appears they travel a great distance with 1 single leap. a fleas legs act like high powered springs which propels the flea great distances every time the flea jumps forward.

It seems like they can fly sometimes because they can jump hundreds of times their length, but they don't actually have any wings. If you're looking at a small flea-like insect that does have wings it could be a type of gnat, or maybe one of the many species of beetle.

No, fleas do not have wings. Although they are known for jumping vast distances relative to their body size, this is simply due to their powerful limbs, which allow them to propel themselves over relatively great distances.

No felas do not have wings they have to either hop or be carried on a host. If you saw something flying you will need to capture it and see what it is because fleas do not have wings.

No fleas do not have wings. Instead they have very strong legs that act like springs. Fleas can jump up to 13 inches in distance. That would be like a man jumping 900 feet. Thats a pretty far distance, that why they can get on your dog, or you, so easily.

Fleas do not have wings, they have very strong legs so that they can jump from one host to another. Their strong legs help they jump so that they can infect various hosts, instead of having wings.

Fleas have springy legs that are designed to enable them to make long jumps. They do not have wings, but they can travel such long distances by jumping that it appears that they can fly.
