Can your gall bladder be removed while you are pregnant?

Yes, it can, but it is only recommended in dire situations. It is safest to do so in the second trimester.

Yes. It is not recommended, obviously, but if it absolutely has to be done, then it can be done. It is preferable early in the pregnancy if possible.

Having your gall bladder removed while pregnant has been done, however most doctors like to wait till you have given birth to the unborn child. Like with any surgery there are risk and it is often not worth the risk to the unborn baby to perform the procedure during pregnancy.

yes it can be removed, but you and your doctor will have to weigh the benefits to doing it during pregnancy to delaying it till after you deliver. Always ask the anesthetist about sedation options.

Removal of gallbladder is dangerous during pregnancy. Gallbladder stores the bile. If it is removed bile will be directly poured in to the blood. In a pregnant woman this blood enter in to babies body and it will cause jaundice. This jaundice can cause early abortion in a pregnant woman.

I don't think that's a good idea, because you have to share you stomach with another person. Also they are cutting into where the baby is and that could be bad.

They can remove your gall bladder during pregnancy, but if there is any possible way to avoid it your doctor will wait and schedule it after the baby is born.

No you can not have your gall bladder removed while you are pregnant. You will have to wait till after you have the baby. It is very common to produce sludge in your gal bladder during pregnancy.
