Write a very simple thank you for the lovely gift of money or a present. If the party attended the wedding, than thank them for coming and making this a special day for you and your wedded. If they did not attend, just thank them for the lovely gift.

Always congratulate the new couple. You can also add marriage advice, or a blessing. Thank them for including you on their special day.
