Can you help me troubleshoot my Jeep Wrangler that has cold air coming from under the dash when the heater is on?

I live in a cold weather climate and this is not going to work.

Sounds like you might have a crack in either your dashboard or from where the Freon enters into your car. Either that or you have a broken valve preventing the AC from going to the correct place.

Your heater system is ran by cables and vacuum hoses from your HVAC system. You have either a broken cable or hose that has caused the vent for fresh air to be stuck open.

The heater core is not working on the Jeep. Its very easy to replace. Remove the panel just below the dashboard near the leg space. you should find the core in the center of the area. The heater core is only held in place with four screws and a socket. Pull the socket apart first then the screws.

Your Jeep has a blown heater core. The good news is its easy to fix. Depending on the year a new core should cost no more than 40.00. First buy the new core then look under the dash. Its an easy fix with only two bolts .

Locate blend door it is under the electronic control and the actuator motor is located on the bottom of the plenum box on the passenger side. Remove the motor and examine the axle for breakage or cracking. Manually turn the axle and switch from heat to AC.

It's possibly the control module for the heater. Usually fairly easy fix to do if you have a decent mechanic.
