Passport Drive is a series Pocket or Portable Elite Hard Disk Drives produced by Western Digital corporation. It is said that these are Western Digital's smallest portable drive ever, and with drive control, drive lock, USB 2.0 high speed and other good performances. The capacity ranges from 40G to 1TB.

The Passport is a great portable hard drive and is extremely easy to use. It comes preloaded with backup software so keeping your files safe is a breeze, even for the computer beginner.

I have used the passport drive and I would not by it again. I do not know about the new ones but the one I have, is not always recognized.
