Can you get a virus from rat feces?

Rats can be carriers of disease. A famous case of disease spread by rats is the plague. A modern day illness that is deadly and spread by rats is the Hanta virus. This can be spread even without the rats present as it is carried in their feces. Exterminators can assist in rat removal.

Yes you can get a virus from rats. Rats carry bacteria and of course their feces has bacteria in it too. Also, if it sits around and they are not getting rid of the rats the problem will get worse.
