NEVER give a pet medication, especially that intended for humans, without consulting your veterinarian. Many common medications can kill a dog or cat. Call your veterinarian immediately about your dog's breathing problems.

You should never give pets medicine intended for humans, unless directed by a vet. Their livers do not function the same way as the human liver, so they are unable to break down some chemicals that humans can.

No you can not. This is a medication for a person. Please take you dog to the vet. Medications for humans can affect animals in a negative way

Yes you can, call your vet who can tell you how much to give per pound. Robitussin is one of the only cough meds you can give a dog.
