Yes you can. All you need in your personal computer is a cd-r drive. These mostly come standard in the majority of new computers. Software wise, you can use windows media player or iTunes to create a playlist. After the playlist is created, insert the cd-rw and click burn. Shortly after you will have your own cd

Yes, but a CD-RW will most likely not work in most CD players. Your best bet is to buy a pack of CD-Rs and use those for your audio CD needs only. CD-RWs are better used for things such as data transfer and computer programs. Next time you try to burn an audio CD, make sure you have CD-Rs.

Yes, all you need to do is to make sure that your burning program close the session, otherwise the CD won't be playable in a normal CD player. The best part is that you can erase the disc in the future and burn a new one if you want it.

I believe you mean "cd-rw" (Compact Disc ReWritable). This sort of disk is used if you plan to erase the disk and put something else on it. You can also use a cd-r which can only be burnt once, but is cheaper.

You use a CD-RW the same as a CD-R. Start by formatting the disk to remove any previous data. Then use any CD authoring software and set it to burn on the drive with the clean CD-RW in it. Then simply burn it at the appropriate speed. You should know that not all cd player can read a CD-RW.
