Can I use a SIM card from a different carrier in a Verizon Cell phone ?

I closed my account from Verizon, which does not use a SIM card. Can I still use a SIM card from a different carrier and use it in the phone, a Motorola Razr 3?

Verizon is a CDMA network which does not use sim cards. There is no way for you to use a sim card in a Verizon phone. The only companies that use sim cards are T-Mobile and Att.

You might be able to use a Sim card if yyour has been unlocked, otherwise you will have to get it unlocked.
