Can I put a Porsche engine in a VW Bug?

I like to work on cars and would like to try this.

As long as your putting a rear engine into a rear engine VW, and likewise with front engine into front engine VW, then yes with significant modifications.

Anythings possible but you would have to have an extensive knowledge of fabrication and wiring and it can be a real headache because all wiring would have to be removed and also you would have to cut the body to allow for the drive train.

Anything is possible if you have the time, skill, or money to do it. Older models could interchange engines pretty easily but newer models make it much harder.

Any thing is possible in the automotive world if you have time and money. It can be very hard or easy depending on what years you plan or combining. A popular conversion is installing a 914 engine into a bug. Check online to see forums and info on the process.

Yes, you can. Check online or at a performance parts store for a how-to manual on making this swap. This swap used to be the favored upgrade for Bugs.
