Question by  june (15)

Can I initialize the Toyota Highlander tire pressure warning system when the VSC light is on?

I know that there has been a recall on the Highlander concerning the VSC light but I thought it had been fixed.

I would advise against initializing the Toyota Highlander tire pressure while the VSC light is on your bets option is to get a certified Toyota mechanic to check it out

Yes, you sure can. There is absolutely no need to worry about the VSC light when you're going to initialize the tire pressure warning system. Hope that helps you now.

The VSC light must be turned off in order to initialize the tire pressure warning system. You are right about the recall, but the Toyota engineers did not get it right the first time. You need to bring the car to a dealer and they will put the new VSC light sensor in free of charge.

Yes you can still initialize the light and the VSC light should still alert you of the tire pressure system but I wouldn't monkey with that unless you're sure!

Yes the light should be able to still come on. Even though the VSC light is one the tire pressure system should still work.
