You probably could give lasix if it was prescribed, but you can get in big trouble dosing him without knowing the dosage and whether it is needed. If you are having swelling problems, take him to the vet and play it safe.

No. Medications prescribed for humans should never be given to a pet unless your veterinarian okays it and tells you the proper dosage.
