There could be many reasons why someone is late on their period. You could get a pregancy test at the drug store or wait to see what happens next month.

While the birth control pill is the most effective form of birth control, aside from abstinence, it is not fool proof. If your girlfriend missed a pill, or was taking any other form of medication she could very well be pregnant.

She has also not been on antibiotics, never missed taking a pill and always takes them within the hour she is meant to..
