The decrease in fish oils has a dependency on the level that it rises to. For example, fish oil is supposed to lower your LDL levels, when in fact it slightly increases by 5 to 10 percent depending on your zone.

LDL is bad cholesterol and HDL is good cholesterol. Fish oil can raise LDL levels by up to 10 percent and can lower your HCD levels. These levels measure amount of cholesterol in LDL particles but it is the amount of particles that puts you at risk for heart attacks and not the level of cholesterol per particle.

Fish oil usually affect your LDL by lowering them. It does however usually increase you HDL levels, which are actually your good levels. The LDL is the bad cholesterol and fish oil helps decrease the bad and increase the good.

Although fish oil is good for you, it can in fact cause your LDL levels to rise. Fish oil has been known to raise the levels around 5-10 mg, but can possibly raise it more.

It is possible for fish oil supplements to cause a rise in LDL levels of between 5-10mg. However, it has also been shown to lower tricycerides. This is thought to be because it shifts the low density liproproteins to LDLs instead.

Yes they can cause a rise in LDL levels. Fish oil is actually very good for you. It has OMEGA 6 and OMEGA 3 acids. However, you may see a rise in the levels but they will gradually decrease over time. You also need to make sure you are exercising.

Fish oil can not raise your LDL it will raise your HDL. Omega 3 fatty acids will lower your bad cholesterol but not your good one.
