Can cabbage cause green stool?

I ate a lot of cabbage for dinner and my stool has been green since. Could the cabbage be the culprit? I didn't really eat anything else that was green.

If we eat lots of vegetables like green salad, cabbage, green leaves, celery and beans those can be cause of green stool. Grape juice also can be a cause of it. Normally it goes in a couple of days otherwise we should go to a doctor.

No,the chorophyll from leafy green vegitables break down from digestion. The green in your stool usually is from the bile that is secreted by your liver.

It could have been that or it could have been something else that you ate that when your body broke it down there was something greent in it that your body didn't need so it got rid of it.
