Most commonly, the baby flips into labor position between Week 32 and Week 34. However sometimes the baby will be ready a few weeks before, or might be a breech.

When a baby gets into position for labor its called 'lightening' or 'engaging'. That means that the babies head is face down in the pelvic region. There is no designated 'week' that the baby gets into position for labor. Typically the baby will get into position when he/she is ready to meet the world in the last trimester.
