There are very few negative side effects if the dosing instructions are followed to the letter. If you notice anything odd, contact your veterinarian.

Before buying any kind of flea killer, make sure to read the back of the package for possible side effects listed. Usually has smaller print due to package size.

Yes, some dogs get skin irritation from the application. They get itchy, dry skin at the place where you put the Frontline on them. If it last more than a couple of days, or becomes too severe, you need to call your veterinarian. Also don't let them swallow the medicine

The largest side effect reported was a rash and irritation at the point of application, but this may be attributed to skin allergies to the medication.

Some reports of vomiting and seizures or kidney failure have been seen, though in nearly all of these cases the dog ingested the Frontline, which is a powerful pesticide.

All products can have side effects. Frontline Plus has limited ones but if there is any itching, swelling, tremors or unusual behavior by your dog, see your vet.
