Most traditional appetite suppressants contain either caffeine or some other stimulant. Dexatrim is available without caffeine, but I don't know how well it works. Fiber supplements, like Metamucil, work very well to give you a filling of fullness naturally, so you don't need chemical appetite suppressants.

NOT really good answers. Most overweight people, like me, don't have the discipline to drink water or suck a mint every hour. I want a pill to trick my mind like ephedra did. That stuff was great. They should've banned caffeine instead!!!  add a comment

If you're truly hungry, you should eat. However, often times people mistake stress or boredom for hunger. Make sure you drink lots of water. Believe it or not, the body can mistaken thirst for hunger. Also, eat green vegetables. They are healthy for you and will fill your stomach so you don't feel hungry.

An amazingly effective, but little-known appetite suppressant it actually peppermint. Peppermint can effectively stave off hunger for up to an hour. This is something that a lot of people do not know about. And peppermint does not have caffeine. I typically choose altoids, or altoid smalls. They seem to do the trick when I'm hungry but don't want to eat.

Two of the most effective non-caffeine appetite suppressants are Hoodia and Acai berries. Be sure to read the label carefully, as neither require the addition of caffeine.

Yes! I would suggest Coconut oil, hot chocolate, water, peppermint, hoodia and acai pills. I believe your best bet is water. Room temperature water helps keep the hunger away for me. Try it !

A cup of hot tea is an excellent appetite suppressant. It fills your stomach up. Since you are worried about the caffeine, make sure you get a decaf tea.
