Are The Staples Singers still recording?

Unfortunately, not anymore. The last record was released last 1984. They did released two compilation albums after that but it did not contain any newly recorded materials.

Since the death of the lead singer "Pops" Staples in 2000, they have not release any albums or recordings since then.

Pops Staples died of complications suffered as a result of a concussion in December of 2000. Mavis Staples has continued the legacy of the Staple singers through various side projects

I don't believe the Staples Singers are still recording. They were inducted in the Hall of Fame and Roebuck "Pops" Staples passed away in the year 2000.

i do not believe the Staples Singers are recording anymore. Their last studio album was released in 1984 and there has been nothing new released since.
