Are Pokemon cards worth anything?

I used to be so into Pokemon, and I have tons of cards that I don't care about anymore. I would to get money for them.

Not very much, but something. Lots of younger kids still play with Pokemon cards, so you could sell them at around 20-40% of what you originally paid to parents and kids through craigslist, kiijii, or garage sales. You might get more if you have a card that is rare. But collectors won't be willing to pay much for years.

It depends on what cards you have, when you bought them, and what condition they're in. First edition cards from the original set will sell for ridiculous amounts.

It depends on the kind of card, as their values differ. You can check ebay to compare what people are selling their old cards for.

If you have the very rare ones, you can make some decent cash, but for the basic ones, you will barely get anything for them.

There not worth much at present. But I would put them in a box in the closet and forget about them for a while, who knows they might be worth something someday, just like baseball cards. Sometimes the longer you hand on to these things eventually they might be worth something someday. And they don't take up much room.

I honestly do not believe, as would a lot of people, that Pokemon cards would be of any value or worth.
