If you feel you can learn online without attending classes or getting one on one help, then it could be good. It depends on what type of learner you are.

Just like live colleges, it all depends on the school and the program. You want to look for accreditation, the third-party commission that certifies the schools program.

Online colleges are good for things like IT, business, liberal arts or history. They are not good for classes where you need hands on experience (i. e. healthcare).

A lot depends on yourself and whether you are able to allocate enough time to your personal study. If you have the motivation then yes is the answer.

It all depends on the college. Before you enroll make sure it is accreditted with the state where it is located. Google it and put scam behind its name and see what pops up. Check with the Better Business Bureau. Also go on the site and look around and see if the mission statement is clearly stated or very confusing.

Yes they are, because one ends up getting the same education as one who has literally gone to class and so there is no big difference.
