Definitely! If you are a beginning drummer you can't beat the price and the value - a full-size 5-pc kit with all of the stands, throne, pedal, and cymbals for less than $300. I have a vintage Ludwig kit & Zildjian cymbals - I use the Gammon kit for practice

Yes. They are higher quality and will sound better and last longer. You should probably only get them if you a serious drummer though.

It depends on what level of a drummer they are for. For a beginning drummer, it you would find it difficult to beat their price. Of course if they are for a more accomplished or advanced drummer, it may be well worth it to purchase a better set of drums.

Yes they are. These drums are absolutely magnificent. I have been using them from the past year and let me tell you they are great. The way they feel when you make sounds. It is awesome. I can't describe it but if you are a drummer you will just love these.

Gammon drums are definitely worth the money. They hold up well, can take a "beating" (if you'll pardon the pun) and have a great sound. They are professional and if well maintained, last a very long time.

Gammon drums are not worth the asking price of $999. They are the standard cheap imported chinese drum sets that retail on average for about a third of that price.

Gammon drums are good enough for a band and start out in drumming. They range from $300. 00 to $600. 00. They are a full size set, crash symbal, power toms, chrome snare, bass drumm, stool and hi hat stand. They are the most popular in drum sets.

Gammon drums are not worth it if you buy them new because they're very expensive, and in a year or two, no matter what you think now, you won't be as interested as before. Try checking out craigslist where you can get them used.
