Are dress codes a violation of free speech?

I consider my mode of dress an expression of who I am.

No,you cannot dress inappropriately in almost all places including work and school. Schools have the right to enforce a dress code because a person dressed in a certain way could offend certain students and take away from the safe learning environment of school.

Dress codes are a way to make sure that everyone can learn/work productively without any distractions that clothes may offer (hate speech, revealing, dazzling, etc)
